Set Colormap (View Colors)

To modify the colourmap choose View | Colours | Set Colourmap. The colormap window (shown in the figure below) will open. This option allows the user to dynamically change the colormap to maximize the information of the image displayed. One can change the color in the following way:

1. Select the color control option
   
   
2. Point the mouse cursor in the color image area and hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse cursor in the color image area, the colormap of the image will change. When you see the best image in the display window for your data, release the mouse button to finalise the colormap. (Moving the mouse side to side will change the colour spectrum region. Moving the mouse up and down will stretch/compact the spectrum).
