This dialog box allows the user to increase or decrease the magnitude of far-field stresses. The value of increment or reduction is requested by either in increment form or percentage of the current stress which is presented in greyed text. The default values are zeroes which indicates no change. Note that the compressive stress is negative, so that an increment in compressive stress should be given as a negative values.
This command is particularly useful in studying the change of the fracture growth path when the far field stresses are changed.
